This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines the rules and restrictions governing how users may access and use the Hostly platform, services, and connected payment infrastructure.
By using our services, you agree to comply with this policy and all applicable laws and regulations.
1. Purpose
Hostly provides a secure Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform enabling verified customers and contractors to manage appointments, process payments, and deliver professional services through regulated Payment Service Providers (PSPs).
2. General Obligations
- Use the Hostly platform only for lawful and ethical purposes.
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date account information.
- Respect all applicable data protection, consumer, and financial laws.
3. Prohibited Activities
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or tax evasion.
- Sale of counterfeit or stolen goods.
- Unlicensed gambling, betting, or lottery services.
- Circumventing Hostly’s payment systems or PSP requirements.
- Creating multiple or fake accounts to manipulate ratings or payments.
- Using automated bots, scrapers, or reverse-engineering Hostly systems.
4. Fair Use of Services
Users must operate within Hostly’s fair use limits.
This includes:
- Reasonable transaction volumes and appointment bookings.
- Compliance with rate limits, API usage, and bandwidth policies.
- Avoiding system abuse or excessive automation.
5. Payment Integrity
- Be for legitimate and declared services.
- Originate from verified accounts.
- Comply with the PSP’s Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
6. Reporting Violations
- Account suspension or termination;
- Reporting to PSPs or legal authorities;
- Permanent loss of access to Hostly’s services.
7. Enforcement
- Investigate potential misuse or policy violations;
- Withhold or reverse transactions subject to compliance checks;
- Cooperate with law enforcement or PSP investigations as required by law.
